Hi All,
I have a TC-18 that has about 300 hours on it. When i take my foot off of the pedal the tractor wants to keep going forward. Is there an adjustment for the hydraulics' at the pedal?
Also has anyone put a backhoe on his or her tc-18? if so did you use the PTO to power a pump or did you tap into the tractors pressure....
Thanks to all that answer
This has been by far the best tool that i have ever purchased. It's amazing how many people think you are nuts. Until they need to use it....

Not sure about your NH, but my Kubota has a grease fitting on the hydro pedal. If fact, it is really the only grease fitting on the tractor. If you look under the deck, you might find a zirk fitting on the hydro pedal shaft. If it is sticking partly open, the tractor would drift. ....

Not sure if your 18 is anything like my TC33D, but the service manual shows a "HST return-to-neutral spring" that has both rough and fine adjustment. It looks like a shock absorber, but actually has a spring inside a tube connected to a rod. If creeping is the problem, turning a nut a few times for fine adjustment may do the trick. ....

Your tractor is out of neutral adjustment. Call your dealer and have them reset it. The only hoe available for that tractor at this time is the woods ground breaker X which is not available yet (Next month) . It will be sub frame mounted and PTO pumped. ....

I have called the dealer about having the neutral reset. They said that I would have bring the thing in that the trans has to be opened up to see what the problem is. The foot pedal shaft goes in the side of the trans it doesn't look like there is any adjustment or linkage. It just has a grease fitting.... ....

There is an eccentric nut that is used to set the neutral on those machines. Your dealer dose not know what he is talking about. It should only take about 2 minutes to set the neutral position. You do not have to tare any thing apart. And it can be done at your house. ....

Look at pics 8, 9, and 10. They show the nut. You do not even have to get underneath the tractor. Loosen the 12mm head bolt in the center then turn the eccentric one way or the other until the tractor sits still. ....

My model of tractor(TC-18) has a different setup than yours. Under a shroud below the throttle control there is a threaded rod with 2 jam nuts one on each end. I think that this might be the adjustment for the drifting problem...Ill post either way with some pictures to let people know...
thanks ....
